Meet Dan Chisnall, Expert Technician

Dan Chisnall has been repairing electronics since 1975 — over 45 years of hands-on, component-level experience. He’s worked on everything from vintage receivers and turntables to modern flat-screen boards, and he still approaches every job the same way: figure out what’s actually wrong, and give you a straight answer on whether it’s worth fixing.

At Digital Vintage Classics, we don’t oversell repairs. If it’s not worth the cost, we’ll tell you. If it is, we’ll tell you what it takes and get it done right.

Our family-owned business operates out of our home in Clinton Township, Michigan. That keeps our overhead low and lets us focus on the work instead of the overhead. All drop-offs and pickups are by appointment only.

Our work is guaranteed for 90 days on the specific work performed.

I called to see if they worked on reel to reel tape machines I have a pioneer 707 and was having trouble with the tape running off the machine. I talked to Dan and ask if I could bring it in and have it worked on He said yes he would look at it for me but what was the problem after we talked he was able to diagnose the problem on the phone. It is now up and running thanks so much Dan. Appreciate your knowledge. He could’ve very easily asked me to bring it in so he could make money on me. I’m grateful there’s still some honest people still out there . Thanks again Dan.
